Permaculture Tour with Bees!

This 1 hour activity is designed for large groups to tour a working farm full of herbs, veg, and... bees! Come learn about permaculture, pluck and taste organic veg, and safely encounter our honeybees. Perfect for pre-school / school tours, interest groups, or a kid's party to take them away from the screens and immerse in nature!

This tour is adapted from our award-winning Rooftop Farm Experience held at The Sundowner @ Siglap. Winner of the STB Outstanding Tour Experience 2024.

A condensed 30-min version is included free as part of all Farm stays.

About

On the rooftop at Sundowner Siglap, we brought buzzing nature to an urban neighbourhood, but are somewhat constrained by the shophouse walls.

With over 10,000 sq ft at Changi, we are supersizing the concept by harnessing the power of soil and sun to run a full working farm. We have a food forest with trees such as coffee and coconut, and a veg garden with herbs and veg such as peanut and basil. Walk and bathe in nature, sans mozzies: Our dragonfly pond supports these predators which can eat 100 mosquitoes a day!

Say hi to our pet chickens, which help aerate the soil and lay down poop as fertiliser. Then create your own fertiliser as we teach you the basic of composting.

Our rescued honeybees play a crucial role pollinating our crop, and you can feed them or even don a beesuit to go up close and inspect their hives.

Cancellation Policy

For Private bookings, if you wish to drop the number of attendees and inform us:

a. >3 days (72 hrs) before the event: Full refunds can be made only for those who drop out. If you wish to cancel the whole event after paying, we can refund 50% only.

b. Within 2 days (48 hrs) of the event: Full refunds can be made for up to 10% variation of the total number booked. E.g. if booking was for 20 pax, refund can be done for up to 2 pax only.

c. Only on the day (within 24 hrs): No refunds, no postponements. As we would have already prepared our staffing and material accordingly.

All bookings come with your understanding and acceptance of the above cancellation policies.
